Joshua is more mature than his friends.Maybe it's because his parents divorce.Nearly before his 6th birthday,my mother in law often saw him in front of the mirror and ask her "Granny,why my eyes are not in the middle?".
My mother in law also told me about a woman in Joshua's school who several times talk to her and told my mother in law to get Joshua an eye operation.Everytime the woman talk to my mother in law,Joshua was arround them.Joshua.never said a word,but he keep those woman's words in his heart and mind.He was so hurted inside.

On January 9th,2002 Joshua had his second eye operation.With the same doctor,Vivian Balla but this time at Singapore National Eye Centre.This time,it was more difficult.Maybe because Joshua was almost 6 years and he was scared.The doctor said that i have to stay at the operation theatre to hold Joshua when they gave him the narcose injection.It was really a hard work to hold him at that time !! I cried..it was so sad to see my little prince at the operation table.If only i could replace my son with me,i would.So I stay there until Joshua fall asleep.
     The operation took 3 hours.But for me,it was like 1 year.And finally...the door was open and the nurse ask me to come inside.So if Joshua awake from his sleep,he will not be alone and scare because i'll be there with him.Praise the Lord,the operation was succesfully finished.I hold Joshua and move him to the observation room.And after 4 hours,we go back to our hotel..

Now,1 month after Joshua's 2nd eye operation...his eyes are so beautiful.And he is so proud of his eyes !! When he saw the woman at his school,he go to her and told her "Look,my eyes are now already operated.They are already in the middle,and i can see you clearly.I'll remember your words!".
     I cried somewhere inside my heart when my mother in law told me that.
My Joshua was very hurted inside of the woman's words...but my Joshua was very brave.
